Data & Methodology

Dan Quant is designed around point-in-time evidence, transparent model state and reproducible portfolio analysis.

Data sources

The platform combines public company filings, market-price data, configured analyst evidence and internally maintained rating snapshots. Data availability may vary by security, date and analytical feature.

Quantitative ratings

Security ratings are produced through a systematic multi-factor framework and evaluated relative to the applicable investment universe. Factor scores, model versions and rating dates are retained so that results can be interpreted in their historical context.

Point-in-time integrity

Historical analysis is based on information available at the relevant evaluation date. Data availability, publication timing and subsequent revisions are treated explicitly to reduce look-ahead bias and preserve reproducibility.

Portfolio analysis

Portfolio views connect quantitative ratings with recorded holdings, model decisions and transaction evidence. Where configured, results are presented alongside a market benchmark to provide relative performance context.

Data revisions

Source data may be corrected, extended or reprocessed as higher-quality evidence becomes available. Material revisions and model-state transitions are retained through the platform’s data and research history.

Benchmarking

SPY is used in selected views as a broad US equity benchmark. Benchmark comparisons provide analytical context and do not imply that a benchmark is appropriate for every portfolio, objective or risk profile.

Important limitations

Quantitative models are simplifications of financial markets and may be affected by incomplete data, changing market regimes and assumptions within the methodology. Historical ratings, simulations and portfolio results do not guarantee future performance.

Dan Quant provides quantitative research and portfolio decision support. It does not provide personalized investment advice or execute brokerage transactions.
